In the future, it would be ideal for competition organisers to reproduce what we created at Jerez for the World Equestrian Games. All the necessary elements were present to create a magnificent show: a PRO-SOL ground with rolls of turf positioned around the decoration fences providing the following qualities: being dynamic, comfortable and aesthetic.
Toubin & Clement : grounds that withstand any test !
‘In competitions such as the Nations Cup, and also the World Equestrian Games at Jerez, the team leader’s strategy relies on making the best rider jump last .
The problem with this is that little by little, after the rounds the ground will become damaged, which is a dangerous gamble for you to take for your performance in an individual event. Thankfully at Jerez, due to the quality and the reliability of Toubin & Clement’s grounds throughout all of the events, all of the couples started off with the same chance of succeeding.’

‘At Jerez, on the day before the team event, violent storms had soaked the ground. I was second last to jump and 178 riders had already jumped before me on the same course.
What was extraordinary was that the ground was perfect. To my knowledge, no other ground could have given each rider the same chance, whether he was first or last, with such a large number of riders and such a huge event.’

Grounds that had everyone’s unanimous approval!

Indeed it must be said, the grounds had everyone’s unanimous approval and the riders spoke a lot about them. During the general assembly in Brussels of ‘The International Riders Club’, with 25 top international riders, everyone was unanimous about the wonderful quality of the ground at Jerez . Everyone was also very concerned that the next Olympic Games in Athens would take place on grass. Because it is very important for us that everyone has the same chance of succeeding, whether you are one of the first ten or last ten riders out of two hundred competitors, the ground must be the same for everyone.’
